Analysis of the Function and Design Characteristics of Balance Valve

  Balance valves are composed of one-way valves and sequential valves. Balance valves can be divided into three types: static balance valves, dynamic balance valves and pressure-independent balance valves. Balancing valves are generally used in front of cylinder nozzles (usually large chambers) of variable load mechanisms. Equivalent to the composition of hydraulic control one-way valve. If it is a large chamber, normal oil is injected through a one-way valve; if it is a small chamber, the pressure of the small chamber should be applied on the balance valve to open the one-way valve before the large chamber can return oil. The condition of opening is that the inlet pressure of small chamber is higher than that of large chamber.

  Balance valve has two functions:

  1. Prevent the cylinder from dropping because of the sudden pressure loss of the large chamber intake line.

  2. Prevent the danger of overload inertia leading to too fast oil return speed.

  Balance valves are also commonly used in hydraulic motors. Balance valve is a dynamic and static balancing valve under hydraulic conditions. Static balancing valves can also be called balancing valves, manual balancing valves, digital lock balancing valves, double-position regulating valves, etc. It is through changing the clearance between the valve core and seat (opening), adjusting the Kv (valve flow capacity) of the valve to change the flow resistance through the valve to achieve the purpose of regulating flow.

  The working principle of the balance valve is the reverse regulation in the valve body. When the pressure at the inlet increases, it will automatically reduce the diameter and reduce the change of flow rate. On the contrary, it is the same. If reversed, the regulation system will not work. And the valve disc which plays the regulating role is directional, and the reverse pressure can reduce or even close the flow.

  Since the balance valve is installed for good heating, there is no reverse installation problem. If it is a counterfeit, it is a man-made mistake, of course, it will be corrected. Balance valve belongs to the category of control valve. Its working principle is to adjust the flow rate by changing the clearance between the spool and seat (i.e. opening), and changing the flow resistance of fluid through the valve.

  Balance valve is a kind of combination valve with ideal regulating performance; cut-off function; open state display of 1/10 rings; theoretical flow characteristic curve is equal percentage characteristic curve; patented open-close locking device; corresponding to each ring, there is a specific flow coefficient. As long as the pressure difference between the two ends of the valve is measured in debugging, the flow through the valve can be easily calculated; PTFE and silicon Adhesive sealing, reliable sealing performance; internal components are made of YICr18Ni9 or copper alloy, strong corrosion resistance, long service life; internal lifting valve stem, without reserving operating space. Easy to use: the construction of the project is more flexible, the installation and completion of the project by stages or the use of equipment by stages will not affect the water system balance; easy to change: when the water system in some areas needs to be redesigned, it will not affect the water system design and balance in other areas; reduce power consumption: because the whole water system is balanced, to ensure the refrigeration units (boilers, heat exchangers) and water pumps. It has obvious energy-saving effect in working state, reducing wear and waste: ensuring that water flow will not exceed the original design, ensuring the durability of all equipment, avoiding copper pipe loss caused by excessive flow;

  Enhancement: Because the flow balance of water system is automatic, the possibility of destructive regulation is eliminated. For the designer: reduce the workload, flexibly reduce the workload: do not need to carry out cumbersome resistance calculation of the entire pipeline, accelerate the design speed; can boldly use the different program system: save pipes, corresponding materials and installation costs, the work of balancing hydraulic system to the dynamic flow balance valve to complete; can avoid many other imbalances caused by the water system imbalance.
