  Groove gate valves are usually designed with single gate, double gate, wedge and parallel structure. Wedge double gate (Z42, Z62 series) and wedge elastic gate (Z40, Z60 series) are most widely used.

  The groove gate valves usually have single gate, double gate, wedge and parallel structure design, among which the wedge double gate (Z42, Z62 series) and wedge elastic gate (Z40, Z60 series) are most widely used. When the former is closed, the gate automatically matches the two sides of the valve seat and automatically compensates the processing position error of the wedge angle; while the latter relies on the elastic groove in the middle of the gate to compensate the wedge angle by the axial thrust of the stem. Processing position error, both of them achieve better sealing effect.

  1. High-performance rubber and the latest vulcanization technology are used inside and outside the integral rubber-coated spheroidal graphite cast iron skeleton. It is tightly bonded, precise in geometry size and good in sealing elasticity. It completely isolates the metal from the fluid of the valve core and is corrosion-resistant.

  2. The copper nut of the integral copper nut valve core and the nodular iron skeleton are tightly connected with each other by special technology to ensure that the valve will not loose under long-term operation and water flow impact, so as to avoid the control failure of the valve.

  3. The bottom of the elastic seat gate valve of the flat-bottom valve company adopts the whole valley through design, which is equivalent to a straight pipeline. It is not easy to accumulate debris, ensures reliable sealing and makes the fluid unimpeded.

  4. The self-sealing structure is adopted between the cover and the body of the self-sealing valve. Within the allowable pressure range, the higher the fluid pressure is, the tighter the seal is.

  5. The upper seal structure between the special upper seal stem and the valve cover is designed with three o-rings. Compared with the packing seal structure of the traditional gate valve, the channel seal is tight and the friction resistance is greatly reduced. In any opening, pressure and safety lock function of the valve stem, ensure that the valve stem will not be washed out by pressure during operation and maintenance, avoid causing personal injury.

  6. The compact structure reduces the maximum working height by more than 60 mm-300 mm compared with the traditional gate valve and saves engineering space. The body is made of ductile iron, which reduces the weight by about 20-30% compared with the traditional gate valve and is convenient for installation and maintenance.

  7. Food-grade hygiene requires that the inner part of the valve body be coated with non-toxic epoxy resin, and that the inner and outer surfaces of the valve core be completely covered with rubber, without rust or corrosion. It can be directly used in drinking water systems, food and pharmaceutical industries.

  Packing valve inspection should pay special attention to the condition of packing box. Asbestos oil-impregnated filler and graphite-impregnated filler are recommended to be used below 200 C. Because oil liquefied and flowed at higher temperatures, the sealing of packing box will be reduced. Several single-ring graphite-impregnated asbestos fillers can be used at temperatures 200-250 C. Packing ring is made of braided asbestos rope. Its cross-section is square and its side length is equal to the width of packing box. The asbestos rope is wound around a geocentric axis whose diameter is equal to the diameter of the valve stem and cut into 45 degrees, so that it can be wrapped and lapped into a circle. When filling the packing chamber with packing rings, the cut lines should be staggered, and dried and pure flake graphite should be sprinkled layer by layer. The thickness of flake graphite is less than one millimeter. Special fillers can be used for higher temperatures.
